##language:zh #pragma section-numbers off ##含有章节索引导航的 ZPyUG 文章通用模板 <> ## 默许导航,请保留 <> = CoP vs. VLC = ^2007-01-11 13:00:47^http://www.online-edu.org/index.php/3501/action_viewspace_itemid_9331 ##startInc * 温格(Etienne Wenger)在"Communities of practice _a brief introduction"中对于"community of practice"这一术语来源作了说明。虽然社会科学研究者一直在用与“community of practice”内涵相似的各种术语进行不同的社会研究分析。但是，从其源头和主要应用来说，CoP还是源于社会学习理论。正如Etienne Wenger对他本人的介绍一样，虽然他因为CoP而被大家知晓，但是他更是一位社会学习理论研究者。“community of practice”是他与人类学研究者Jean Lave在研究学徒关系时所创造出的一个学习模型。 * 正如Etienne Wenger指出CoP是一种学习模型，因此理解CoP，必须理解Etienne Wenger对于学习的理解与阐述。较长时间比较主导的对学习的认识和理解的话语体系来自认知心理学，包括皮亚杰的认识发生论研究，主要都是从个体出发，研究学习的个体生理、心理的加工机制，比较典型的学习理论，如仅仅依据行为反应观察建立起来的刺激-反应行为主义学习理论、建立在多种理论模型（认知发生论、认识信息加工）基础上的认知流派等。其后发展起来的建构主义对于学习理论的贡献跟行为主义、认知主义研究视角发生了很大变化，并非是一脉相承的延续，尽管认知建构是建构主义发展主要流派之一。Etienne Wenger对于学习的解释与界定是从社会学习理论（SLT）出发，是对社会学习理论发展完善与贡献。社会学习理论与其它学习理论不同在于它从“行为、认知、环境”三者对学习进行解释，比如班杜拉（Albert Bandura）在他的社会学习理论中提出社会观察学习的概念，包容行为主义、认知主义部分概念，同时又强调社会环境的作用。在社会学习理论已有研究基础上，Etienne Wenger1998年在《Communities of practice:Learning,meaning,and identity》一书中提出这样的观点和假设，即对于学习来说，社会实践是根本过程，通过社会实践，我们知道了我们所知道的、我们成为我们所成为的样子（engagement in social practice is the fundamental process by which we get to know what we know and by which we become who we are）。因此，从根本上来说，学习是一种社会现象，植于我们经验所产生的环境、我们参与所发生的环境（Learning becomes,fundamentally,a social phenomenon and is placed in the context of our lived experience and participation in the world.）。于是，Etienne Wenger对这样以社会参与基础的学习过程的解释，从“意义（meaning）、实践（practice）、社团（community）、身份（identity）”四个方面进行了系统化的理论构建与作用阐释。 * 因此，CoP与VLC不同，从理论上来说，对学习理解而言，CoP内含比较明确的社会学角度对于学习的界定，认为这样的“community”是由于其成员对于领域追求兴趣所致而凝聚在一起进行活动和讨论、相互帮助、共享信息，至于是否存在一个网站站点，这只是形式问题，而真正要判断是否形成“community”，关键是看其成员之间是否在就领域 “domain”问题在研讨、相互学习与帮助，并且在这样参与过程中，形成了“community”不同身份（identity），这种身份不是以 “community”之外的社会地位与权力来划分，而是在这样的“community”之中，对于领域“domain”知识或者问题的把握是新手还是熟手,或者说是学徒还是专家。CoP与VLC不同，更为明显的一点就是关于“practice”,这里的“practice”不仅规定了 “community”中成员讨论内容知识的实践性性质，也就是关于如何提高实践绩效的知识，同时也蕴含了CoP中学习发生的情境化特点，或者称为情境学习。 * 总的来说，CoP与VLC不同，CoP不是简单基于兴趣而聚集在一起讨论，不管这种聚集方式是物理现实的还是线上虚拟的，CoP强调是相同领域的实践者为寻求相互学习与帮助而凝聚在一起讨论关于如何提供实践绩效。因此在CoP中一定有具体领域domain存在、一定有不同身份学徒专家存在、一定有有助于促进参与者在实践中提升技能的情境化实践活动发生。 * 关于“community of practice”中文翻译，目前有两种，一种是在《情景学习：合法的边缘参与》中用的是“实践共同体”；还有一种在《实践社团——学习型组织知识管理指南》用的是“实践社团”。 * 更为详细和准确的内容请参考温格的个人网站http://www.ewenger.com/ 相关资料:: * Lave, Jean, and Wenger, Etienne (1991) Situated learning: legitimate, peripheral participation.
